Presentazione del corso
The international conference WATERLINES, organised by the Hub for Heritage and Habitat research group of the DICEA Department of Excellence at Marche Polytechnic University, explores urban reconnections between cities and port areas, focusing on regeneration and reuse of obsolete port spaces. It aims to foster sustainable development by transforming threshold areas into public spaces that bridge urban and maritime contexts, enhancing liveability and creating new urban centralities. Contributions will address connections, nodes, and landscapes to support strategies for revitalising port cities.
